• Question: when did you start liking science and did you know you wanted to be a scientist?

      I didn’t really have a favourite subject at school for a long while… it was probably easier to say I disliked art but all the others were fine. So as long as I can remember I liked science- my parents brought me to the Science and National History Museum in London when I was in primary school and I thought they were great. I decided to concentrate on science A levels rather than other subjects because I liked the subject and I thought they would lead to an interesting job (I was right- thank you 16 year old me).
