Education:
I went to Grimmelshausen Gymnasium high school and graduated there with Abitur in 2013. Then I did civilian service for around one year before I started studies of chemistry at the Technical University Darmstadt. After my graduation in 2009, I did an internship at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Science and started my PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2010. After 3 years, I graduated with Dr. rer. nat. and went to do a Postdoc at the University of California Santa Barbara. In 2015, I started my own research group at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, where I did my Habilitation. In 2019, I started as lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
