I am a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I am a green belt in karate and love to go on hikes in the Scottish highlands.

I’m a Research Fellow studying the ageing and degradation of plastic materials (polymer composites). I live in Surrey with my partner and my dog. I’m a materials scientist at work and in my free time I love going running, cycling and to the beach!

I am from Scotland and have now lived near Middlesbrough for 6 years. I captain my local chess team, am a Red Belt in Taekwondo, a very bad but enthusiastic cricketer, and enjoy video games and watching a lot of films.
